We are excited to welcome Nare Filiposyan to the CLA team!
Nare is a candidate of Master of Architecture at MIT. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Philosophy from Bennington College, where she currently serves as a Trustee. Her studies at Bennington focused on exploring passage of time in architecture. For her senior work she studied the College’s Walled Garden as a ruin in progress, after a two month research on ruins in central Italy. The work culminated in a proposal for how to preserve the financially and structurally challenging architectural heritage of the college. Prior to joining CLA, she has worked at SHoP Architects, Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, Rockefeller Foundation, and BKSK Architects..

We are excited to welcome Brian Heller to the CLA team!
Brian received his Bachelor of Architecture from the College of Architecture and Urban Studies at Virginia Tech. While a student, Brian studied abroad in Japan and cultivated an interest in the architectural choreography of the city, traditional Japanese building styles, and the work of Tadao Ando and Fumihiko Maki. Brian has over three years of experience practicing in NYC, with expertise in managing office workflow, streamlining productivity, and managing the production of large, complex residential projects. His architectural interest focuses on the cinematic nature of architecture and the role that an individual’s movement plays in engaging and activating environments at all scales. Outside of the office, Brian enjoys all things sports related, making and watching films, photographing the city, and building furniture.
